 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will close the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes from the Stone Oak Parkway exit ramp to the Stone Oak Parkway entrance ramp, the northbound (NB) and southbound (SB) lanes at the Stone Oak Parkway/Voigt Drive intersection at Loop 1604, and the Loop 1604 EB to WB and WB to EB turnarounds at Stone Oak Parkway for beam placement.
These weeknight closures will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2025 through Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, weather permitting. Please note these are the minimum closures required for the anticipated work. All closures are subject to change and modification as necessary. Off-duty law enforcement will direct traffic through intersections during this time.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 WB mainlanes
Travelers on the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes will exit via the Stone Oak Parkway exit ramp onto the Loop 1604 WB frontage road lanes. Travelers will continue on the Loop 1604 WB frontage road and utilize the Stone Oak Parkway entrance ramp to re-enter the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes.
Voigt Drive NB
Travelers looking to continue north on Voigt Drive and enter Stone Oak Parkway will turn right onto the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. They will utilize the turnaround at the US 281 interchange and enter the Loop 1604 WB frontage road. Travelers may turn right onto Stone Oak Parkway.
Stone Oak Parkway SB
Travelers looking to continue south on Stone Oak Parkway and enter Voigt Drive will turn right onto the Loop 1604 WB frontage road. They will utilize the signalized turnaround at Blanco Road and enter the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. Travelers may turn right onto Voigt Drive.
