Loop 1604 Westbound Exit Ramp to Bandera Road
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will be opening a new, permanent exit ramp for travelers exiting to Bandera Road, just east of the existing ramp. As part of the new ramp, the following closures will take place for striping operations:
- Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlane two right travel lanes from Kyle Seale Parkway to Bandera Road (left travel lane will be open)
- Loop 1604 WB frontage road left lane from Kyle Seale Parkway to Bandera Road
- Loop 1604 WB exit ramp to Bandera Road
Additionally, TxDOT will permanently close the temporary Loop 1604 WB exit ramp to Bandera Road while simultaneously opening the new, permanent exit ramp.
The overnight lane closures will begin on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 9 p.m. through Monday, June 24, 2024 at 5 a.m., weather permitting.
The new permanent exit ramp in the new location will be open to travelers at the conclusion of the lane closures, by Monday, June 24, 2024 at 5 a.m.
Travelers will have access to the existing Bandera Road exit ramp throughout the lane closure time frame. The existing Bandera Road exit ramp will close permanently while the new permanent Bandera Road exit ramp will open simultaneously at the conclusion of the lane closures.
Note: All closures are weather permitting and subject to change.
