 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes from the NW Military Highway exit ramp to Lockhill Selma Road entrance ramp, and fully close the Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) mainlanes from the Vance Jackson Road exit ramp to the Bitters Road entrance ramp, in addition there will be closures on the IH-10 WB exit ramp to the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes and the IH-10 EB cloverleaf exit (southwest cloverleaf) to the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes for a traffic switch.
The full weekend closures will begin Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 at 9 p.m. through Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023 at 5 p.m., weather permitting. Following the closures the traffic pattern will be changed. Off-duty officers will help to direct traffic through intersections as needed.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 WB Mainlanes:
All traffic looking to travel Loop 1604 WB will exit via the NW Military Highway exit ramp and can re-enter the WB mainlanes via the Lockhill Selma entrance ramp.
Loop 1604 EB Mainlanes
All traffic looking to travel Loop 1604 EB will exit via the Vance Jackson Road exit ramp and continue on the EB frontage road. Traffic can re-enter the EB mainlanes via the Bitters Road entrance ramp.
IH-10 WB to Loop 1604 EB
All traffic looking to travel from IH-10 WB to Loop 1604 EB will take the frontage road exit (just north of UTSA Boulevard) and continue on the frontage road to Loop 1604 EB frontage
road. Traffic can re-enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes using the Lockhill Selma entrance ramp.
IH-10 EB to Loop 1604 EB
All traffic looking to travel from IH-10 EB to Loop 1604 EB will take the frontage road exit (just south of La Cantera Parkway and continue on the frontage road to the Loop 1604 EB frontage road intersection. Traffic can re-enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes using the Lockhill Selma entrance ramp.
