 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will be fully closing the Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) mainlane exit ramp to EB collector-distributor (San Antonio/El Paso), the IH-10 Eastbound (EB) Collector-Distributor right lane and the IH-10 EB to Loop 1604 EB cloverleaf ramp for construction on the direct connector.
Traffic will be unable to use the exit ramp to access EB or westbound (WB) IH-10.
The closure will occur Friday, Sept. 22, 2023 at 9 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 at 5 a.m., weather permitting.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 EB mainlane traffic looking to access IH-10 EB will be directed to take the exit ramp after La Cantera Parkway then proceed to use the frontage road ramp near the Drury Inn to access the IH-10 EB frontage road. Traffic can then re-enter IH-10 EB using the next available entrance ramp.
Loop 1604 EB mainlane traffic looking to access IH-10 WB will be directed to take the exit ramp after La Cantera Parkway, then proceed straight using the ramp toward Vance Jackson Road under IH-10. Travelers will then take a left at the signalized intersection and head WB on the IH-10 frontage road and can then re-enter IH-10 WB using the next available entrance ramp.
IH-10 EB mainlane traffic looking to access Loop 1604 EB will be directed take the prior exit to Loop 1604 WB, then proceed on the IH-10 EB frontage road and turn left under IH-10. Travelers will then proceed on the Loop 1604 EB frontage road until the next available entrance ramp.

Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 through Saturday, Sept. 29, 2023 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Loop 1604 Westbound Mainlanes from Lockhill Selma Road to IH-10
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes from the Lockhill Selma Road exit ramp to the IH-10 interchange to set deck panels on the WB direct connector to IH-10.
The full closure will occur nightly beginning Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 through Saturday, Sept. 29, 2023 from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m., weather permitting. Off-duty officers will direct traffic through intersections, as needed.
DETOUR INFORMATION
WB mainlane travelers will exit via the Lockhill Selma Road exit ramp. Traffic will continue on the WB frontage road through the Lockhill Selma Road, Vance Jackson Road, and IH-10 intersections and can re-enter the WB mainlanes via the entrance ramp west of IH-10.
