Loop 1604 Westbound and Eastbound mainlanes from NW Military Highway exit ramps to NW Military Highway entrance ramps and NW Military Highway intersection (Northbound and Southbound mainlanes) including turnarounds
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) and westbound (WB) mainlanes from the NW Military Highway exit ramps to the NW Military Highway entrance ramps for deck pour on the NW Military Highway bridge. The intersection at Loop 1604 and NW Military Highway will also be fully closed, including turnarounds.
The closures will begin 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2023 through 5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, weather permitting. Local law enforcement will direct traffic as-needed.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 WB Mainlanes:
All traffic looking to travel WB on Loop 1604 will detour to the WB frontage road lanes via the NW Military Highway exit ramp west of Bitters Road. Traffic will continue travel on the WB frontage road and re-enter Loop 1604 WB via the NW Military Highway entrance ramp west of NW Military Highway.
Loop 1604 EB Mainlanes:
All traffic looking to travel EB on Loop 1604 will detour to the EB frontage road lanes via the NW Military Highway exit ramp west of NW Military Highway. Traffic will continue travel on the EB frontage road and re-enter Loop 1604 EB via the NW Military Highway entrance ramp west of Bitters Road.
NW Military NB Mainlanes to Loop 1604 WB:
All traffic looking to travel WB on Loop 1604 will take the EB frontage road to the Bitters Road turnaround and continue on WB frontage road. Traffic can enter Loop 1604 WB mainlanes via the entrance ramp west of NW Military.
NW Military SB Mainlanes to Loop 1604 EB:
All traffic looking to travel EB on Loop 1604 will take the WB frontage road to the Lockhill Selma turnaround and continue on EB frontage road. Traffic can enter Loop 1604 EB mainlanes via the entrance ramp east of NW Military.

 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will close the right travel lane on the IH-10 westbound (WB) mainlanes from the Loop 1604 interchange to the Camp Bullis Road exit ramp, the left lane on the IH-10 WB frontage road from the Loop 1604 interchange to La Cantera Parkway, and the IH-10 WB exit ramp to La Cantera Parkway for braided ramp demolition.
TxDOT has also permanently closed the IH-10 WB entrance ramp at the braided ramp before La Cantera Parkway. A newly opened entrance ramp is now available for travelers before La Cantera Parkway to enter the IH-10 WB mainlanes from the IH-10 WB frontage road.
The temporary closures will begin Friday, Sept. 8, 2023 through Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, weather permitting.
DETOUR INFORMATION
IH-10 WB mainlane travelers looking to access La Cantera Parkway will continue on IH-10 WB to the Camp Bullis Road exit ramp. Travelers will continue on the IH-10 WB frontage road and utilize the turnaround at Camp Bullis Road. They will then travel on the IH-10 eastbound (EB) frontage road to La Cantera Parkway.
