Major Closure Notice

NIGHTLY CLOSURE

Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Loop 1604 at the NW Military Highway Intersection

WHAT TO EXPECT

As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will fully close the intersection at Loop 1604 and NW Military Highway, including turnarounds underneath Loop 1604 to prep the bridge deck at the NW Military Highway bridge.

The closures will begin nightly, Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 through Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, 9 p.m to 5 a.m., weather permitting. Local law enforcement will direct traffic as-needed.

DETOUR INFORMATION

Northbound (NB) NW Military Highway:

All traffic looking to travel NB on NW Military Highway will detour to the Loop 1604 EB frontage road lanes and use the Bitters Road turnaround to continue on the westbound (WB) frontage road lanes. Traffic can then proceed NB on NW Military Highway.

Southbound (SB) NW Military Highway

All traffic looking to travel SB on NW Military Highway will detour to the Loop 1604 WB frontage road lanes and use the Lockhill Selma Road turnaround to continue on the eastbound (EB) frontage road lanes. Traffic can then proceed SB on NW Military Highway.
