2012 Unified Transportation Program Revision and
2011-2014 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program Revision
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will host an open-house style public meeting to solicit public comments and input for revisions to the 2012 Unified Transportation Program (UTP), which covers fiscal years (FY) 2012 through 2021 and the FY 2012 November Quarterly Revision to the 2011-2014 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
The public meeting will be held at 5:30 PM (CST) on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at the following locations:

Unified Transportation Program
The 2012 UTP is a comprehensive ten-year plan for the development and construction of State of Texas transportation projects including roadways, aviation, public transportation, waterways and coastal waters, and rail projects and includes specific funding levels for each fiscal year.
Beginning promptly at 6:00 P.M. , TxDOT staff will conduct a brief presentation on the purpose and revisions of the 2012 UTP. Additional information will be available for public viewing and TxDOT representatives will be on-hand to discuss the development process and answer questions. Forms will be provided in order to receive written comments. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Statewide Transportation Improvement Program
The STIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and the Federal Highway Administration to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally funded projects. This public meeting pertains specifically to the FY 2012 November Quarterly STIP Revision. TxDOT representatives will be on-hand to answer STIP related questions.
The FY 2012 STIP Amendment for November 2011 may be viewed online at http://www.txdot.gov/business/governments/stips/htm or visit any TxDOT District Office prior to the meeting. Public comments will be received until December 5, 2011.
