RTS County Release Notes 26.3 (08/28/2026 @ 12:20 PM)

Good afternoon,

On the evening of Friday, August 29, 2026, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) will
update the Registration and Titling System (RTS) with Release 26.2 which contains the content
summarized below: 


Enhancements:

•   Vehicles Sold By Dealer Report 

•   Add Electric Vehicle Fee to the Insufficient Funds Redeemed Event

•   IVTRS: Online Registration Renewal for Active-Duty Military Service Members
     (or Spouses) without a Texas Address

•   Update to Sales Tax Exempt Reasons

•   Bexar County added to list of emissions counties

•   Houston Texans Crossover: Vendor (SLP) and Embossed
