The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) has identified programming issues in the webDEALER system that are incorrectly requiring inspections for certain transactions where inspections should not be necessary. We are actively working to resolve this high-priority issue, with a programming fix scheduled to be deployed tonight on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
The initial fix deployed tonight will allow the submission and processing of transactions in webDEALER, currently impacted by these inspection requirements, starting Friday, January 10, 2025. Additional enhancements will be implemented to address this issue more comprehensively at a later date.
