Initial Notification: Charge Fee for Correct Title Rejection in RTS POS (02/21/2023 @ 10:00 AM)

Good morning,

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is aware of an issue where
registration fees are being charged when doing a Correct Title Rejection with an
ownership evidence code of "Out of State" in Registration and Title System (RTS) 
Point-of-Sale (POS).  This issue applies to the Out of State ownership evidence
code only.  Support Staff are currently troubleshooting the issue.


Workaround / Suggested Action

Please hold off on doing any Correct Title Rejections with Out Of State ownership
evidence until a fix is implemented.  If any Correct Title Rejection transactions were
processed yesterday or today, please void the transaction, and wait to process the
transaction again once a fix has been implemented.
