Initial Notification: Scheduled Maintenance: RTS Release 9.2 (12/29/2018)

Good afternoon,

Over the weekend of December 29, 2018, the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) will update the Registration and Title System (RTS) with Release 9.2 that contains the content summarized below.   

• New and Redesigned License Plates Issued for:
• Smokey Bear
• Redesigned US Army
• Redesigned US Army Honorably Discharged
• Redesigned US Army Retired
• Redesigned Veteran US Army
• Entry of Last Four of Texas Document Number for Ownership Evidence TTL011 screen
• Compensation Amounts Now Shown on Fees Reports
• webPERMITS Vehicle Confirmation pop-up screen asking for verification of vehicle information
• Delinquent Transfer Penalty Fee Collection
• Month/Year of Registration Expiration Disabled
• One-Trip Permit Requires Texas Origination or Destination
• Non-Titled Transaction Disabled for Previously Title Vehicles
