Welcome

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) is a small agency with big responsibilities. Starting today, Wednesday, November 1, 2017, we welcome to the TDLR family six licensing programs from the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), joining our existing roster of 32 professional and business licensing programs.

I want you to know that at TDLR, you can expect quick, efficient licensing, exceptional customer service, and responsible regulatory oversight of your licensing program – and all at the lowest possible cost to you.

Since summer 2015, staff from TDLR and DSHS have been working together on this transition to ensure there is no disruption of services. We are ready to go, and eager to serve each of our new customers.

Public Meetings

TDLR’s advisory board and Commission meetings are available to watch online live, or later at your convenience. For upcoming meetings, see the Meetings page on the TDLR website or your program home page. Past meetings for all programs are archived on TDLR’s YouTube page.
