Senate Bill 855 was passed in the 89^th legislature allowing for certain medical consenters to seek medical services outside of the STAR Health network at their own financial expense. DFPS Medical Services has created an informational video to discuss the implementation of this legislation and how it will work for medical consenters, youth in foster care, and caseworkers.
