:DFPS Provider Portal Updates

Dear Residential Provider,

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) continues to closely monitor the Provider Portal. We encourage you to continue to inform us of the issues that may arise, and we promise to continue to communicate resolutions and any future enhancements to the Provider Portal. 

On 10/3/25 the Provider Portal will have additional information added, no action is required on your part.    

 

Updates:

  1. The PID number and date the Caregiver’s PID number was last changed will now be visible on the Caregivers tab and the Caregivers Detail page.  This information will automatically be transferred between our systems from IMPACT to the Provider Portal for each Caregiver. 
  2. As a reminder, providers can now view the Login Username for administrators and caregivers.
