Project Work Plan & Budget Documents Refresh Webinar
 Fiscal Year 2025 is around the corner! Join PEI to hear about the refresh process for FY25. This webinar will provide guidance and tips to prepare for the upcoming fiscal year. PEI will share the plan for this year which intends to simplify and shorten the refresh process in addition to providing expectations, deadlines and required forms needed. Achieve OnDemand: Challenges in Home Visiting: Substance Abuse
Substance abuse and addiction are prevalent, often reoccurring issues in home visiting. Addiction can interrupt a parent's personal growth and interfere with their ability to fully engage with their child. This course will strengthen both new and experienced home visitors’ knowledge and ability to recognize signs of substance use and explore ways to address concerns with a parent in the context of their role as home visitor. Topics include the impact of substance use on family systems, parenting, child development and safety issues encountered in home visiting.
Register Now: Parent Café Training
A Café Training is an experiential and highly interactive workshop that prepares participants to convene and conduct Be Strong Families Cafés.
By the end of the training, participants will know the anatomy of a Be Strong Families Café process, how to create their own Café theme, and how to build on the Café experience to enhance programming for parents and youth. We will discuss the philosophical foundations and research underlying Cafés as an educational and engagement strategy. They will also experience conducting and participating in Cafés.
Multiple locations to attend In-Person and attend virtually.
- In-Person classes are two-day sessions and will train you on how to host an In-Person Parent Café.
- Virtual classes are only for participants who have previously attended an In-Person training session and are wanting to learn how to host a virtual Parent Café.

PIP Fatherhood Learning Series
When: June 18, 2024 – 1:00 – 2:00 pm
Title: The Nuts and Bolts of a Fatherhood Program
Description: In this session, we will look at the essentials of planning, operating, and growing a successful fatherhood program. This session will dig into valuable tools to strengthen your programming approach. Some examples include knowledge of resources for child support, access and visitation, and co-parenting, best-practice principles for fatherhood practitioners, and how to select the right program elements.

Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Virtual Certification Training
 Based on the Principles of Family Support Practice and the Strengthening Families Framework and its research-based evidence-informed 5 Protective Factors, the National Family Support Network has created a common language across different kinds of Family Strengthening and Family Support programs such as Family Resource Centers, home visiting programs, and child development programs.
This two-day virtual certification training details how the Standards can enhance work with families. Whether you are setting up a new program or strengthening an existing one, the Standards provide a blueprint for implementing best practice.
Participants who complete the full 2 days will receive a certificate from the National Family Support Network that is valid for two years. Participants will be required to attend both days of training and have a training manual to follow along with in order to receive certification. The manual will be mailed to participants prior to the first day of training.

The 2024 Calendars are now available for order. This free family resource is filled with helpful tips for parents and caregivers of children of all ages. It’s available in English and Spanish, and endorsed by The Texas Pediatric Society.
Calendars can be ordered in multiples of 100 with a maximum order of 500.
