Texas Department of Family and Protective Services: Prevention and Early Intervention

Congratulations to the FAYS Grantee Awardees

The PEI Division of DFPS, also now Family Support Services in Chapter 137 of the Human Resources Code, in partnership with the Health and Human Services Commission is pleased to announce the award of our Family and Youth Success (FAYS) grants.

Through the FAYS program, grantees will serve their communities by addressing family conflict and everyday challenges while promoting strong families and youth resilience.

The FAYS Program provides services in all 254 counties of Texas. FAYS programs may offer a variety of services including one-on-one coaching, counseling, skills training, service coordination, basic needs support and more. Communities prioritize and fund specific prevention services to address their community level needs.

Grants began September 1, 2023, for a five-year period and the total award amount for FAYS is $24,320,037.
