DFPS’s Child Protective Services (CPS) and Child Protective Investigations (CPI) programs updated their shared policy handbook today. The changes address the following topics:
- Education about medical care.
- Extension of placement in the Intensive Psychiatric Transition Program (IPTP).
- Qualifications for Treatment Foster Family Care (TFFC).
- Releasing information to law enforcement or a county or district attorney.
- Using Priority None closure codes.
