The Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Division seeks applications from qualified entities within the State of Texas to provide Family and Youth Success Program (FAYS) services.

About The Family and Youth Success Program

The FAYS program addresses family conflict and everyday challenges while promoting strong families and youth resilience. Some current topics FAYS addresses include bullying, school attendance, coping with divorce, and building healthy family relationships.

Across the state, FAYS partners with families with children 6-17 years of age; however, in some communities with identified need, FAYS Grantees will provide programming to families with younger children.

This Request for Applications (RFA) will award grants to provide programming statewide to promote strong families and youth resilience by funding local programs to increase protective factors in families and communities.

How to Apply

The RFA can be found at https://apps.hhs.texas.gov/pcs/HHS0011988/ and closes October 6, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. Central Time (CST).
