We Found Santa's Phone Number!

This year join millions as they enjoy a digital experience with good ol' St. Nick by calling Santa’s Hotline at (605) 313-4000. With COVID-19 still a lingering concern for many around the world, families have had to cancel their plans for a visit with their local mall Santa Claus.

Santa’s Hotline is a welcome resource to share in the holiday spirit with friends and family and experience Santa Claus digitally.

When you call Santa’s Hotline, you can leave a message with your wish list and let Santa know exactly what his elves should work on this year. Callers will be welcomed by Santa Claus himself! Call (605) 313-4000!

Harvard University Podcasts: Building Responsive Relationships Remotely

Science tells us that responsive relationships—like those with serve and return interactions—between children and adults, adults and other adults, and children and other children help buffer us against the effects of ongoing stress. These relationships act as a core building block for resilience and help us navigate life’s ups and downs. How do we maintain and promote responsive relationships during the coronavirus pandemic? It’s important to connect virtually to support children, families, and care providers of all kinds.

In the Spring and Fall of 2020, Harvard University hosted a series of conversations with members of the Frontiers of Innovation community. Through these conversations, members shared their stories of innovation and resilience as they sought to maintain services to families and innovate not only overnight, but sometimes by the minute! The below link includes some tips, resources, and podcast episodes that may help navigate remote interactions during this time.

Cook Children's Community-wide Children's Health Assessment & Planning Survey

Cook Childrens Survey

For Collin, Denton, Grayson, Hood, Johnson, Parker, Tarrant, and Wise County Providers:

Every three years, Cook Children's conducts a Community-Pwide Children's Health Assessment & Planning Survey (CCHAPS) to identify the health needs of children in our community. The survey results help guide us, along with our community partners, in developing solutions that address the most important issues.

CCHAPS plays a key role in our community health needs assessment. The assessment includes a review of facts from government and other health organizations, as well as input from community leaders regarding their views on children's health.

The information and survey results are used to track our progress over time and to help Cook Children’s and other nonprofit organizations, governments and churches in our area better serve children and families. All responses are kept confidential.
