Check Out the New RideDCTA.net
It’s been a few years since we updated our RideDCTA.net website and with all the changes and updates we’ve seen over the last year, we thought it was a good time to give our website a revamp and fresh design.
We revamped our website with you in mind to improve the navigation for mobile and tablet views, enhance visibility of fonts and add Google Translate.
A website revamp isn’t an entire website redesign, think of it as a house with good structure but needs cosmetic updates. A revamp is usually done when the site structure, functionality and look and feel of your website is fine, but the content and flow isn’t right. This gives the site a fresh look and new interface for our users!

Downtown Denton Transit Center Now Open to the General Public
Our DDTC lobby is now open for limited capacity Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. During the midday break, the lobby will be sanitized and cleaned, but passengers can still purchase fare at the ticket counter during this time.
There are limited seats available to encourage social distancing practices. We plan to fully reopen the lobby once the federal mask mandate is lifted. In addition, we will continue to require face coverings on all agency vehicles, at DCTA bus stops and train stations, and in the DDTC in alignment with the Transportation Security Agency’s (TSA) extension of the transit mask requirement.

No DCTA Service on Independence Day Holiday
We will not operate any services on Independence Day as the holiday is on a Sunday. However, DCTA will operate service on Monday, July 5. The agency’s administrative office in Lewisville will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of the holiday.
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will run on a Sunday schedule on Independence Day. DCTA encourages those who ride DART to sign up for their Rider Alerts to stay informed about any upcoming schedule changes for the upcoming holiday.
