DCTA Highland Village Lyft Discount Program Expansion

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) health emergency, our top priorities at DCTA are keeping our passengers and employees healthy and ensure a safe commute for our riders. We are increasing precautions to protect our passengers and staff and will provide updates of any new information that could impact riders’ commutes.

We will continue to operate as the agency is considered an essential business by the Denton County “Stay at Home” declaration and will continue to provide safe mobility options (such as our Highland Village Lyft discount program) for essential travel for residents, employees and businesses. All passengers should practice safe social distancing and #RideDCTA and use our programs for essential trips.

Last month we expanded our Highland Village Lyft discount program enhancements which included the addition of Saturday service from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and an increased subsidy amount per ride from $10 to $13. Weekday service remains the same from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

To utilize our Highland Village Lyft discount program, you must enter the “RIDEDCTA2” promo code into the Lyft app. Once entered, the promo code will remain active and automatically apply to all trips that meet the service parameters.

More information about our Highland Village Lyft discount program and how to book a trip is available at RideDCTA.net.
