Minor Service Changes Rolling in March 16
Effective Monday, March 16, we will implement minor service changes to increase efficiencies in the city of Highland Village and return to previous route paths now that construction is complete along Bonnie Brae in the city of Denton. The service changes will affect Denton Connect Route 7 and Highland Village services.
Below are specific changes passengers should keep in mind to plan their travel in advance:
- Highland Village Connect Shuttle will be discontinued and our Highland Village Lyft discount program will be expanded for more cost-effective service. The Lyft service will be expanded to include Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. along with an increased subsidy per ride from $10 to $13.
- Denton Connect 7 will return to its original pre-Bonnie Brae construction routing.

Save the Date: U.S. 2020 Census Coming Soon
The next decennial census is just around the corner and we want to make sure you’re counted! An accurate census snapshot means that communities across the nation (including Denton County) receive the funding, services and business support they deserve and need. The survey only happens once every 10 years and affects the allocation of funding for our community’s public resources (e.g., roads, hospitals, schools and even public transportation), how we plan for the future and our voice in government.
