Monday: HHS Secretary to visit Parkland Hospital for Affordable Care Act press conference

 HHS Secretary to visit Parkland for Affordable Care Act press conference 

 

What:             Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia M. Burwell will visit the HealthCare.gov enrollment center at Parkland Memorial Hospital for a press conference on the Affordable Care Act. Other participants will be Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, Parkland Health & Hospital System CEO Frederick Cerise, MD and a Dallas consumer who successfully purchased insurance through the Marketplace.

Photographers wishing to participate in still/video photography spray should arrive and check in no later than 1:40 p.m. Reporters and photographers wishing to cover the press conference should arrive and check in by 2 p.m.

Parking will be available on the top level of the Parkland ER Parking Garage, off of Southwest Medical District Drive. Parking vouchers will be provided by Corporate Communications.
