Historic “South Dallas Super Bowl” to move to the Cotton Bowl

 

What:             District 7 Councilmember Carolyn R. Davis, the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department and Dallas ISD will announce a new game to be played at the Cotton Bowl. The gridiron matchup will be between the Lincoln High School Tigers and the James Madison High School Mighty Trojans, historically known as the “South Dallas Super Bowl.”

Why:              Highlight the partnership between the City of Dallas and DISD and bring the South Dallas/Fair Park community together in their backyard to witness an exciting and long standing rivalry between two great schools.
