Liberty State Bank Building re-opening ceremony set for tomorrow

What:             Dallas City Councilmember Adam Medrano, District 2, will give special recognition to the re-opening of the historic Liberty State Bank Building, saved from demolition and moved from its previous downtown location, 2226 Elm St.

 

                        The building was disassembled, relocated and rehabilitated to the Dallas Farmers Market district, adjacent to the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Originally constructed in 1899, the two-story Italianate masonry has retained its architectural integrity and continues its role in a new location as a downtown landmark.
