  WHAT:            Free outdoor concert by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, part of the 2014 Dallas Symphony Parks Concerts series featuring free outdoor performances in diverse Dallas neighborhoods.

                        Honorary Guest Conductor Mayor Pro Tem Tennell Atkins, District 8, will conduct the Dallas Symphony in Sousa’s Washington Post march.

                        VIP honorees Michael Stromile and Joseph Ewatuya, 2014 United States Presidential Scholars from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Chuck Rainey, world-renowned jazz bass player

“Under the Stars” community celebration features performance by International Conservatory of Performing Arts, free health screenings by Dallas Nursing Institute, food trucks, family fun.
