City of Dallas implements online pet registration

Dallas – Dallas residents can now register their pets without leaving home. Online pet registration is now available at http://www.dallasanimalservices.org/registration.html. Multiple pets can be registered at one time and required documents can be uploaded online Dallas City Code requires all dogs and cats be registered annually.

 

The annual registration fee for sterilized pets is $7 and $30 for unsterilized pets. A rabies vaccination certificate, including vaccination and expiration dates is required to register pets. Discounted rates may apply for pet owners 65 and older who meet certain requirements and provide proof of sterilization.

 

In addition to online registration, owners can also register their animals by mail or in person.

 

To register by mail, send a copy of the current rabies certificate and other applicable documentation and a check payable to the Department of Code Compliance, 3112 Canton St., Suite A, Dallas, 75226. To register in person, bring current rabies certificate and applicable documentation to either of the following locations:
