Sanitation Services bulk and brush service storm update

 

Dallas - Dallas Sanitation Services will maintain its regular four week bulk/brush schedule this month to include pickup of storm debris. Here is the schedule for May:

 

- Sanitation Services is currently servicing Week 1 Bulk and Brush areas. 

- Week 2 collection will begin Monday, May 12.  

- Residents putting out storm debris in Weeks 2 & 3 can expect their storm debris and normal bulk/brush to be collected in their designated week.

- Collection requests for residents with storm debris in Week 1 areas that have already been collected and residents in Week 4 areas will be completed as resources allow.  

 

If your residence sustained damage from the storm and you are putting out storm debris only for collection, the City asks that you call 311 or (214) 670-5111 for storm debris pickup. To see a map and dates of your collection week visit http://www.dallascityhall.com/sanitation/sanitation.html.

 

Code Compliance will suspend the issuance of citations for storm debris set-outs until May 30. 

The City is currently conducting a preliminary assessment to determine if Dallas has met the defined threshold of uninsured losses to receive federal assistance. Citizens are encouraged to contact 311 if they have any service requests related to the severe weather that took place on May 8.
