Commemorative Air Force to announce Dallas Executive Airport as their new National Airbase and Corporate Headquarters
What: The Board of Directors of the Commemorative Air Force will announce the selection of Dallas Executive Airport as their national Corporate Headquarters, and site of a major new visitor attraction. Dallas Executive was chosen from 23 cities under consideration. The CAF Board of Directors outlined disciplined criteria for the location, such as having an airport large enough to operate their aircraft and airshow, being part of a large metropolitan area and having interstate access. CAF unanimously found Dallas Executive to be the best fit.

MEDIA: A special area will be designated for live broadcast vehicles. All others will be directed to the airport parking lot. Twelve World War II era aircraft are flying in to attend the event.
