STORM DAMAGE COLLECTION UPDATE 

 

SERVICE ALERT:  City declares storm debris collection event.  Residents must call 311 to set out storm-related brush and debris early.  Early setouts without 3-1-1 notification are subject to ticket and fine.  Storm-related brush and debris will be collected during normal brush/bulk collection week.  More information in the attached file.

 

Dallas Sanitation Brush Crews are currently collecting in Week 3 areas May 20-28 and will move into Week 4 areas May 29- June 4.

If you have storm related brush or debris and you live in Week 1 or Week 2 areas you can:

  •  Transport brush and debris to the nearest transfer station or McCommas Bluff Landfill (call 3-1-1 for locations and hours of operation);
  •   Call 3-1-1 to request a Cost Plus Service collection; or
  •  Call 3-1-1 t request permission for early storm-related brush and debris set out. Early storm-related setouts will be picked up during your regular collection week. Citations for out of cycle setouts will NOT be issued to those who call 3-1-1.

Week 1 customers are tentatively scheduled to be picked up June 3-7. Week 2 customers June 10-14.
