Dallas, Texas — Dallas Park and Recreation today announced the return of one of the country's largest New Year's Eve music festivals to Fair Park. Lights All Night takes place on December 30 and 31, bringing thousands of music fans to the historic venue.
The festival is part of the park department’s ongoing efforts to bring more concerts, festivals, family-friendly attractions, and special events to Fair Park. Dallas Park and Recreation leaders said they will share more announcements about future events planned for the park.
“Lights All Night and other entertainment like this showcase the new energy and activity happening at Fair Park. This is just the first of many new experiences we’re bringing to Dallas and to the park. We want to give visitors more reasons and opportunities to come out and enjoy this space all year round,” said John D. Jenkins, director, Dallas Park and Recreation Department. “Its return to Fair Park continues a successful partnership between the festival and one of the city’s most iconic destination venues.”
The world’s finest electronic dance music artists, hi-tech stage production, and immersive experiences will highlight Lights All Night. Fair Park General Manager Brett Wulke said 2012 was the last time the park hosted the festival created by Disco Presents, an award-winning and recognized electronic dance music event production company. With Disco Presents’ stellar reputation for creating unforgettable live experiences, Wulke said, Lights All Night is the perfect way to welcome the new year.
"We're excited to welcome Disco Presents back to Fair Park for Lights All Night. Bringing the festival back to the place where it first grew is a special moment, and we're looking forward to celebrating the New Year together,” said Wulke. “Events like this help bring more people to Fair Park year-round and support our vision of making it one of Dallas' premier destinations for entertainment, culture, and community."
Lights All Night festival details, artist announcements, and ticket information will be available on Fair Park’s website and at Lights All Night.
Operated by the Dallas Park and Recreation, the 277-acre Fair Park hosts a variety of concerts, festivals, sporting events, family attractions, and cultural celebrations that attract millions of global visitors throughout the year.
