Dallas Park and Recreation will distribute 25,000 passes that give youth free admission to popular Dallas attractions
Dallas, Texas — Dallas teens can experience some of the city’s most popular cultural and recreational attractions at no cost with a City of Dallas Teen All-Access Pass. Now in its sixth year, the pass program offers complimentary admission during July for one teen and up to three guests at participating venues across Dallas.
Beginning June 29, the Dallas Park and Recreation Department will distribute passes on a first-come, first-served basis at City of Dallas recreation centers. The program is open only to Dallas residents ages 13 to 17.
The program is made possible through partnerships with local cultural, recreational, and entertainment organizations and businesses that enrich leisure experiences for Dallas youth with complimentary admission to venues and activities. New to the program are Dave & Buster’s, Dallas Love Field, and the State Fair of Texas. They join these participating organizations and City of Dallas venues:
-
Bahama Beach
-
City of Dallas Arts and Culture
-
Dallas Arboretum
-
Dallas Golf
-
Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
-
Dallas Public Library
-
Dallas Zoo
-

-

-

To receive a pass, teens must register in person at a City of Dallas recreation center during business hours and provide proof of Dallas residency. Pass details, recreation center locations, and a full list of participating venues are available at DallasParks.org.
Since its inception, the pass program has connected thousands of youth to experiences they might not otherwise have been able to access. In its first year, 7,066 passes issued generated more than 14,000 guest admissions.
The program supports the Mayor’s Summer of Safety initiatives to keep teens engaged, active, and safe during the summer while also highlighting July is Park and Recreation Month, a national celebration recognizing the importance of parks, public recreation, and community activities such as the pass program.
