DALLAS —The City of Dallas celebrated Pride Month today by hosting the 2026 Pride in Excellence Awards Reception. The event honored local LGBTQ+ leaders who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and achievement across business, civic engagement, public service, arts and culture, and philanthropy.
The ceremony featured remarks from Dallas City Council Members Chad West and Laura Cadena, who highlighted the vital contributions of the honorees in fostering a more inclusive and welcoming city.
The annual Pride in Excellence Awards recognize Dallas residents who embody the core values of service and innovation, leveraging their platforms to create meaningful, lasting change for the LGBTQ+ community. This year’s recipients represent a diverse group of advocates, professionals, and community leaders whose collective impact continues to strengthen the vibrancy of Dallas.
