The LGBT Task force, Office of Arts and Culture, and City Manager's office invite you to participate in the celebration of pride month. The Pride in Excellence Awards reception will recognize LGBTQ+ leaders in Dallas in the fields of business, community impact, public service, arts & culture, and philanthropy. Artists whose work is featured in the Pride Month Exhibition will be recognized during the Pride in Excellence Awards reception. The Pride Month Exhibition celebrates the vibrancy, resilience, legacy, and cultural richness of the LGBTQ+ community through the work of Dallas-based artists. The exhibition brings together diverse artistic voices reflecting the themes of identity, love, visibility, community, self-expression, equality, and belonging. Through a wide range of perspectives and creative practices, the exhibition honors the histories and contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals and communities while highlighting contemporary experiences and inspiring continued advocacy, connection, and cultural celebration. |
