Join us at the Latino Cultural Center for a special evening celebrating the opening of two powerful exhibitions: The Goals of Painting by Jazzamoart and El Mundo es un Juego by Rodrigo de la Sierra.

Presented in partnership with Latino Arts Project and curated by Elena Catalán Roldán, this dynamic pairing brings together two influential voices in contemporary Mexican art: exploring play, humanity, and global connection through painting and sculpture.

The Goals of Painting (April 18 – May 22, 2026) highlights Jazzamoart’s bold, expressive work inspired by soccer as a universal language; one that unites cultures, sparks dialogue, and reflects movement and rhythm through color. With a career spanning over five decades, his work bridges the worlds of music, sport, and visual art.

In conversation, El Mundo es un Juego introduces Timoteo, the iconic figure by Rodrigo de la Sierra, a playful yet profound observer of modern life. Through sculpture, de la Sierra invites us to reflect on our place in a complex and ever-changing world. As Dallas prepares to welcome the global stage for the 2026 World Cup, this exhibition arrives at a powerful cultural moment, where art and sport intersect in meaningful ways. Come celebrate an evening of art, culture, and community where creativity and global dialogue take center stage
