The Dallas Fire-Rescue Community Outreach is proud to announce its Annual Senior-Themed Battle of the Easter Basket Contest, a heartfelt initiative where all collected baskets are donated each year to a different senior center to bring joy to our elderly community.
This year, we are proud to expand the contest beyond DFR by inviting participation from other City departments, making it an even more impactful, citywide effort.
Several city departments, including Dallas Police Department and 311, will be participating in the event by donating senior-themed baskets.
During the event, all baskets will be raffled off to the seniors by drawing their names, creating a fun and memorable experience for the seniors in our community. Media are invited to attend.
