Traffic switch for Pearl/Flora intersection in downtown Dallas

DALLAS - Ongoing construction will alter traffic flow through a major Downtown Dallas intersection.

Beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2026, only southbound Pearl Street traffic – from Woodall Rodgers Freeway (Spur 366) toward Ross Avenue – will be able to cross the intersection at Flora Street. Northbound Pearl Street lanes (driving toward the freeway) will be closed.

The intersection is adjacent to the Meyerson Symphony Center and the National Shrine Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and one block from Klyde Warren Park.

The change reverses the arrangement that for weeks only allowed northbound traffic from Ross Avenue. Message boards placed on site in mid-March have alerted drivers of this reversal.
