Housing Listserv Announcement: New DHFC & DPFC Training Videos Available
The Office of Housing and Community Empowerment (OHCE) has released new training videos that provide an overview of how the Dallas Housing Finance Corporation (DHFC) and Dallas Public Facility Corporation (DPFC) operate and support housing development in Dallas.
These videos were developed to increase transparency and provide a consistent, accessible resource for residents, partners, and stakeholders interested in how housing projects are financed, reviewed, and overseen.
Topics covered include:
- Dallas’ housing challenges and OHCE’s approach
- What DHFC and DPFC provide and how they differ
- Financing structures and tax exemptions
- Governance and City oversight
- A snapshot of the current project portfolio
- An interview with the DHFC/DPFC General Manager
