Dallas Fire-Rescue is honoring the lives of the 82 firefighters who lost their lives from 1901-2021 while serving their community. The Line of Duty Death Memorial Ceremony, held every 5 years, is a tribute to the sacrifice made by the dozens of firefighters who gave their lives serving and protecting the residents of Dallas. Hundreds of family members will be in attendance at the ceremony, which will include comments from dignitaries, reading of the honor roll, bag pipes, a wreath laying, and a bell ceremony followed by a reception. Media is invited to attend. |
