Statement from Council Member Maxie Johnson
"Today, the City Council approved City Council Agenda Item #74 on the Eminent Domain for the Cadillac Heights Area. This serves as opportunity for the city to continue the development of an implement a long overdue vision for this area that will anchor and support the surrounding community.
"This vision should include involving the community in the decision-making process and effectively communicating and engaging with all stakeholders.
"The work of protecting this area from flooding and incompatible land use to the surrounding community is of particular importance to me.
"I look forward to partnering with the City Manager and the Cadillac Heights community as we transform a collaborative vision into real outcomes that improve the quality of life for residents and businesses in the area."
