Two New Exhibitions Opening at the Bath House Cultural Center
The Bath House Cultural Center presents two exhibitions this season, both highlighting art to honor memory and reflect on our world.
"Seat of Honor: An Exhibition About Chairs" curated by Rita Barnard brings together DFW visual artists exploring the chair as a subject of artistic expression. This year’s exhibition honors the late Dallas artist Terri Stone, who first envisioned and curated the chair exhibitions. Stone’s legacy as a cherished friend to the Bath House and the North Texas art community lives on through this show.
"Earth Moves: Original Prints" by Terri Thoman showcases four decades of etchings, monotypes, and woodcuts by Dallas artist Terri Thoman. Her works—gestural representations of natural events—capture both the beauty and the force of the earth, balancing awe with awareness of nature’s power.
On view: Now through Sept. 27 Location: Bath House Cultural Center (521 E. Lawther Dr., Dallas, TX 75218)
