Come join us at the Latino Cultural Center for an exciting event where we delve into the connection between space and identity.
🗺️You will create maps that trace their journey to where they are now, both geographically and metaphorically. These maps can include important landmarks, cultural symbols, and memories that have shaped their identity.

🎨 CALLING ALL DALLAS ARTISTS! "Hecho en Dallas" is BACK at the Latino Cultural Center — and we’re looking for visual artists from the DFW area to be part of this year’s juried exhibition!
Since 2003, this annual show has celebrated the vibrant, diverse voices of our local creative community — and we want you to be part of it!

- Notifications sent: Aug. 22
- Art drop-off: Sept. 2–6 (10 am–5 pm)
- Opening Reception: Saturday, Sept. 20, 6–8 pm

- Art pick-up: Oct. 25 (10 am–5 pm)

🎤Comedian workshop Stand-Up & Storytelling Workshop Series Presented in partnership with FTC Comedy
Ever wanted to try stand-up or share your story on stage? This FREE 4-week workshop is your chance! No experience needed, just a willingness to be honest, brave, and maybe a little funny.
🌟What you’ll get:
- Guided writing prompts and group warmups
- Tips on joke structure, storytelling, and stage presence
- Supportive feedback from pro comedians
- A chance to develop your own 5-minute set or story
- Info on open mics and comedy opportunities

Led by comedians Paulos Feerow and Lilli Lopez, this workshop is a fun, safe space to explore your voice and connect through laughter.
