After more than two decades of abandonment and legal proceedings, the City of Dallas is moving forward with the long-anticipated demolition of the former Tri-City Hospital, located at 7525 Scyene Road. The demolition marks a critical step in eliminating a longstanding danger and blight on the surrounding community and will create opportunities for safe redevelopment in the area.
Tuesday marks a ceremonial demolition. Heavy demolition will begin soon and will take approximately 8 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
