Dallas Marks Global Heat Action Day with Citywide Safety Campaign

What

The American Red Cross, City of Dallas, and community partners are coming together for Heat Action Day 2025 to raise awareness about the dangers of extreme heat. This year’s theme, “How to Recognize Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke,” focuses on educating the public on early warning signs and prevention strategies. Events across Dallas will include safety demonstrations, public outreach, and orange lighting of downtown landmarks to highlight the importance of heat preparedness.
