Beginning today, May 5, 20225. DallasNow is live. You can now access DallasNow at
In case you missed the prior email, a step-by step guide and resources are below.
Step 1 - Create Your DallasNow Account
To access your converted records, you must create a DallasNow account using the same email address that received this message. This ensures your existing permits and registrations were converted and correctly associated with your new account.

Step 2 - Link Your Contractor License
For our registered contractors (general/building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sign electrical, etc.).
After creating your account, licensed contractors must link their converted registration to their new DallasNow account to perform actions on converted or new records.
Note: Only the registration holder can submit the license linking request. Contact staff if you need help finding your registration number. Contractors with registrations that have expired prior to this email will need to apply for a new registration.

Step 3 - Access and Manage Your Existing Projects
Your existing applications and projects have been converted over to DallasNow. Once logged in, they should appear automatically.
Moving forward, you must use the DallasNow system to:
- Submit any required documents for records in "Additional Info Required" status
- Pay outstanding fees on records in "Payment Due" status
- Respond to review comments for resubmittals using the Plan Review tab
Note: For applications currently in plan review, records are being manually converted from ProjectDox to DallasNow by City staff. If you are ready to re-submit and do not see the Plan Review tab available in your record, your project has not yet been converted.
To prioritize the migration of your project, submit a Migration Request: https://bit.ly/MigrateMyProject
