City of Dallas and AT&T Performing Arts Center Host 3rd Annual AAPI Heritage Month Celebration
DALLAS- The Dallas Police Department Office of Community Affairs is proud to once again partner with the AT&T Performing Arts Center to host the third annual Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month Celebration. This vibrant community event will celebrate and honor the diverse cultures and contributions of the AAPI community.
Residents and visitors are invited to join the festivities at Sammons Park, where they can enjoy authentic food vendors, discover the talents of local artisans, watch captivating cultural performances, and explore a diverse vendor market. One of the event's highlights is the Culinary Passport Activity, where attendees can sample dishes from six different Asian cultures—Armenia, China, India, Korea, Thailand, and Turkey—while learning about the cultural significance of each dish. Participants who complete the passport will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes.
The event serves as an opportunity to foster cultural understanding and strengthen relationships within the community, while also supporting the Dallas Police Department's commitment to public safety and partnership-building with the AAPI community.
