This Week: Downtime of Online Permitting Services

DALLAS - Effective Friday, April 25 at 4 p.m. through May 4, 2025, online services are NOT available for permitting, platting, and engineering. Additionally, during this system downtime, there will be limited operations available for these services as well. This is a planned downtime in services as the City of Dallas transitions to DallasNow, Dallas’ new land management system.

During this period, online services for permitting to Dallas Planning & Development will not be available, including submitting payments, submitting applications and processing existing application.

There will be limited operations for inspections, emergency releases and consultation services.

For inspections, the Contractor Portal webpage (https://developdallas.dallascityhall.com/) and the IVR system will no longer be used to request inspections. During this time period to schedule inspections, visit https://bit.ly/Dallas-Inspections(case sensitive) or call our call center at 214-948-4480.
To schedule emergency releases, contractors should call our Chief Inspectors.
And consultation services can be scheduled as normal, however, there will be changes in processing

May 5: DallasNow Launch Date

Ability to setup an account and access DallasNow

May 5 – May 16: Open House Sessions

Support and resources to setup a DallasNow account and navigate the system
Held at Oak Cliff Municipal Center, Breakroom from 8 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 – 4:30 p.m
