Your email is tied to an active permit, project or contractor registration with the City of Dallas permitting system. We want to inform you of an important upcoming change to our permitting and inspections' systems.
On Monday, May 5, 2025, the City of Dallas will transition to a new system called DallasNow. The system will replace our current systems, including ProjectDox,and the Contractor Website. All of the projects that are currently in our systems will be migrated to this DallasNow. To support a smooth transition to our new system, please review the important dates and details below.
IMPORTANT DATES
Adjusted hours at 320 E. Jefferson
April 21 - April 24, 8am - 6:30pm
Friday, April 25th 8am - 4:00pm
Systems Downtime
April 25 at 4 p.m. – May 4
All permitting systems will be down during this period. Current systems not available online or in-person.
Operations limited to:
-Inspections (see below)
-Emergency Releases
-Consultations
From April 25 at 4pm - May 4, inspection services will be limited. We understand the importance of maintaining progress on active construction projects, so we’ve developed an alternate inspection scheduling process that will be used during this time.
Next week, you will receive an email with additional information and instructions.
DallasNow will go live on May 5th. At that time you will have the opportunity to setup a new account. However, there are some steps you can take to be ready when the system launches.
- Plan ahead. Systems will be down & services limited from April 25 at 4pm to May 4th.
