Friends of Dallas Animal Services offering Petco gift cards for adoptions of long-stay dogs

DALLAS - Dallas Animal Services (DAS) and Friends of Dallas Animal Services, the nonprofit organization that supports DAS, are offering Petco gift cards for adopters who take home a dog that has been at the shelter for more than one month. The amount of the gift card is based on the pet’s length of stay in the shelter.  

Length of stay 60+ days = $60 gift card – Eligible pets 

Length of stay 50+ days = $50 gift card – Eligible pets 

Length of stay 40+ days = $40 gift card – Eligible pets 

Length of stay 30+ days = $30 gift card – Eligible pets 

Adoptions are free and include spay/neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations. Dog adopters are also given a coupon for 20% off at Petco, a free week of 1-on-1 virtual dog training with GoodPup, and a free exam with Modern Vet.
