In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, the Office of Arts and Culture is proud to share a growing list of Sensory Friendly cultural arts experiences across the DFW Metroplex.

Join us for POETREE AND CAPTAIN PLANT_IT INERACTIVE YOUTH WORKSHOP! This Sustainable Arts Residency, Hosted by Black Ceasar Poetry we'll blend creativity and nature together and grow the Eagle Ford Community Garden.

Join us for Repurpose & Express: Sustainable Art Residency! Explore 8 weeks of creativity, sustainability, and self expression through hands-on art workshops inspired by Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol-- all using recycled materials!

Join us for the De-Stess Acupuncture Meditation Workshop, a transformative series led by Dr. Victor Manuel of meditative acupuncture sessions inspired by tools developed by Dr. Mutulu Shakur in the 1970s. Originally designed to support stress relief, addiction, and anxiety in the Bronx, these techniques foster deep relaxation, healing, and mental clarity.
Workshop Dates: 6 p.m., Every 3rd Wednesday of the month 4/16 - 9/17

Dallas Live in the Park
Introducing Dallas Live in the Park! The Dallas Park and Recreation Department is teaming up with City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture & City of Dallas Code Compliance Services to bring you a concert series in our very own parks!
Mark your calendars, grab your lawn chairs and blankets and join your community for the fun!
When: 6 to 8 p.m., 4/17, 5/15, 6/12, 7/17, 8/21, 9/18
Circo Estrella de Dallas (4/24 - 4/27)
Free and open to the public, you are invited to attend any of the upcoming events of the Circo Estrella de Dallas! The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture Community Arts division has partnered with Lone Star Circus for Dallas Arts Month to bring a brand-new circus show to the community -- featuring daring acrobats, mesmerizing balancing acts and high-flying aerialists, all under the Tiny Top Tent!
Admission is free, and there will be popcorn and cotton candy for attendees.

International Dance Day - City Hall Celebration!
Join us as we continue the celebration of Dallas Arts Month with a global tribute to the art of dance! We're honoring the iconic Judith Jamison—legendary dancer and choreographer—with a special lunchtime performance by talented City of Dallas employees.
